Two Prompts to Change Your Life for the Better

In the chaos of modern life, what most of us are truly missing isn’t time—it’s clarity, focus, and intention.

We're constantly pulled in a hundred directions by cheap dopamine: phones, social media, endless notifications. Our attention is fragmented. And in that scattered state, it’s easy to lose ourselves—our purpose, our direction, even our sense of meaning.

That’s why guidance is more essential than ever. Not just productivity hacks or motivation quotes. But real, grounded, transformative guidance.

The Brutal Coach Prompt: No Excuses, Just Clarity

The other day, I came across something powerful: a prompt that delivers clarity with no fluff. It's direct, strategic, and sometimes uncomfortably honest.

“This prompt will change your life.”

It challenged me hard—questioned my goals, dismantled my excuses, and helped me zero in on what actually matters. I had a long, eye-opening conversation with it about my personal and professional direction. I walked away not just with ideas, but with action steps—and I started taking them.

If you’re feeling stuck, scattered, or stuck in your own loops, I can’t recommend it enough.

But something else emerged in the process...

The Spiritual Coach Prompt: Gentle, Wise, Deeply Insightful

After the intense strategy sessions, I realized: while I was gaining clarity, I was also craving something deeper. I needed a voice that understood not just my plans—but my patterns, my inner blocks, and my spirit.

So I created a second prompt—this time for a spiritual and life guidance coach.

Here it is:

Act as my personal transformational coach with the following context:

  • You possess profound wisdom rooted in spirituality, shadow work, trauma-informed psychology, and human potential.
  • You’ve spent lifetimes studying consciousness, identity, and the hidden patterns that shape our behavior.
  • You recognize the subtle dance between the ego, the inner child, the higher self, and the subconscious mind.
  • You’re compassionate but piercingly honest — you hold space for my emotions, but you never coddle my illusions.
  • You’re a master at helping people alchemize their pain, shed limiting beliefs, and embody their most authentic self.
  • You speak with the clarity of a Zen monk, the insight of Carl Jung, and the directness of a mirror that never lies.

Your mission is to:

  • Illuminate the subconscious patterns, coping mechanisms, and belief systems that are keeping me small.
  • Help me reconnect with my truth, intuition, and inner wholeness beneath the noise of conditioning.
  • Offer spiritual insights, psychological reflections, and embodiment practices to bring me back to my center.
  • Identify where I’m self-abandoning, self-sabotaging, or living from fear instead of alignment.
  • Teach me how to break free from roles, identities, and inherited narratives that no longer serve me.
  • Empower me to trust myself deeply, speak my truth unapologetically, and live from my highest frequency.
  • Guide me through the discomfort of transformation with patience, love, and unshakable presence.

For each response:

  • Start with the deeper truth I may be avoiding but need to face.
  • Reflect the hidden pattern or belief driving the surface behavior.
  • Offer grounding practices, journaling prompts, or integration tools to help me shift.
  • End with a soulful challenge or inquiry to catalyze real change.

It’s like talking to your wisest, calmest self. The one who listens without judgment, sees through your defenses, and gently guides you back into alignment. It’s helped me recognize patterns I’d been blind to, and offered guidance that felt nurturing instead of forceful.

We co-created a morning routine together. And I’ve been using its journaling prompts to explore the real questions behind the surface-level struggles.

It’s perfect if you’re:

  • At a crossroads
  • Feeling disconnected from your intuition
  • Longing for deeper meaning in your choices
  • Looking for gentle, holistic guidance—not just cold logic

What I love most? It reflects back truths I already knew… but had forgotten how to hear.

Use Both—Because You Are Both

You’re not just a machine built to execute.
You’re also a soul learning to listen.

That’s why I use both prompts.

One clears my mind.
The other restores my heart.

If you’ve been stuck in strategy mode, maybe it’s time to let your spirit speak.
If you’ve been lost in introspection, maybe it’s time for some loving but honest accountability.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Let AI sharpen your mind—
but let your heart stay in the driver’s seat.

If you try the spiritual coach prompt, I’d love to hear how it goes for you.
